Dude, I got published. Say wha???

I can't believe it, but I actually got one of my pictures published!



The picture above was selected to appear in the May/June 2008 edition of Michigan History magazine. I just received a copy of the magazine yesterday, and scanned a copy of the page.



I really don't consider myself much of a photographer. I just snap pictures with my point-and-shoot when I have the opportunity because I enjoy it, so it's pretty exciting to see it actually printed for others to see!

I took the picture last summer when Allison and I went on a Photo Walk of Detroit with the Garvin's, the Weir's, and Rob Griffith. It was a lot of fun. We got a pancake breakfast at IHOP, and then drove and walked around Detroit a bit. The rest of the pictures that I took that day can be found here.
