No matter what, I can't quite seem to escape Packer country. In church last Sunday, you had the more casually dressed fans sporting either Donald Driver or a Brett Favre jersey. Then you had the more work-casual attendees sporting Packer polo shirts. And even the traditional, elderly men were sporting Packer ties. We even had a special company photo for those that wore Packer gear to work last Friday. It's just insane.
So, I have succumbed to the peer pressure, and I cheered for the Packers on Sunday night. Allison and I even made Packer cookies for the party we went too. I guess I brought some of the Detroit Lion luck to Wisconsin, because not only did the Packers lose, they looked bad and lost.
And not to my surprise, yesterday in our staff meeting we had what I imagine most companies had across Wisconsin - a moment of silence for the mighty Green Bay Packers.
Welcome to Packer Country.
