Here's a small glimpse of my Christmas break. More details to follow once I'm back in Wisconsin and have time to blog!

Random Thoughts
-Only 3 more days of work until I'm back in Michigan for Christmas!
-My ankle is feeling better, but I'm not sure it will be up to snuff to play wallyball when I'm home.
-I don't care how 'casual' a church may be, I think wearing a Brett Farve jeresy, even in Packer country, is a little much.
-I've learned at least 3 commonly accepted terms for 'crap': volume, load, and deposit.
-My sister is due in 3 weeks!
-Wisconsin gets a lot of snow.
-I'm going to bed.

Free At Last!
After 4 torturous weeks, my research paper is complete. I have been working on it every day since I moved to Wisconsin (as part of my requirement to finish the semester at Oakland U), and it feels so good to have the 25 page paper submitted to my professor.
Allison visited me this weekend! She flew in on Friday, and we went to dinner with Amy, one my coworkers, and her husband. Amy is my new-hire mentor at Kohler, and she very thoughtfully took Allison and I out.
Saturday, Allison and I ran some errands around Sheboygan before we went to a Christmas party at my bosses house. Allison seem to get along really well with my coworkers and their wives. Hopefully she'll be able to move to Wisconsin permanently sometime soon.
Today, I watched the Lions lose their 5th game in a row. Surprisingly, it was a game they should've won, but we all know how that goes.
Oh, and before I go, I wanted to post this picture:

For a Christmas present, Autumn made me and Alllison matching winter hats! I guess she's been reading the blog and new it was a little cold here. :) Thanks, Autumn!

Sentimental
I can be a real sucker at times for things that are sentimental. As soon as I saw the preview for "The Bucket List" I knew it will probably be one of my favorite movies of the year. If you haven't heard of "The Bucket List" yet, here's a quick summary:
"Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers are worlds apart. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do before they “kick the bucket” and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest. Each adventure adds another check to their list, all done with insight and humor."
Check out the preview: here. If you don't have quicktime or have problems with the above link, the youtube version is here.
So it opens on Christmas day, and I'm pretty psyched to see it. Then this week, John Mayer's music video "Say" just happened to be released as a free download on itunes (the song is from "The Bucket List"). If you have itunes, you can get it here. If you're not a itunes user, you can again check out the youtube version here.
I haven't been super impressed with John Mayer's recent work, but this song just hit me for some reason. Maybe it's the holidays. Maybe it's being away. Whatever the reason, sentimentality has got a hold on me, and I'm really looking forward to this movie.
